Land Bank Leader Pens Business Journal Column

The Business Journal recently launched a new column written by Debora Flora, executive director of the Land Bank. 

The monthly commentary will highlight redevelopment successes sprouting up across Youngstown and Mahoning County through the efforts of many individuals and organizations, including the Land Bank. 

“This is a golden opportunity for us to share a good story that isn’t always told in full,” Debora said. “We’re thrilled that the Business Journal offered us this forum. We’re looking forward to informing its readers and getting their feedback.” 

Her first column, published in mid-October, covered a recent bus tour of the city’s South Side, where several high-impact redevelopment projects are taking shape. Her November column explored  collaborative efforts to boost the community’s digital skills and infrastructure.
