Land Bank, YNDC Break Ground on New Homes

Construction is under way on a project to build six new homes on lots the Land Bank had acquired years go through foreclosures on Mineral Springs Avenue in Youngstown’s Idora neighborhood.

The work is financed by a state grant. Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corp., which owns the lots now and is coordinating the construction, plans to put the three-bedroom homes up for sale next spring for about $180,000 each.
